What is GMP & HACCP?
We here at Kutaan believe food to be one of the most important aspects of life. Food is sustenance, but not only sustenance, it’s also gratification, medicine and given to another person, a sign of love.
Now, it would be quite sad if your sustenance, source of gratification, love, and medicine weren’t safe, as I’m sure you would agree. As a matter of fact, if that were the case, well, then food would serve quite the opposite purpose of the previously mentioned attributes.
This is why Kutaan is all about safety and it’s also the reason I thought we would go over what our company policy is as well as what GMP & HACCP means to you as a consumer.
Kutaan Company Policy
As a consequence of being so fastidious concerning safety, we have decided that our goal is to have the highest standard cricket powder. As a result of this company policy, our cricket powder is produced following the GMP as well as the HACCP standards.

- Identifying points where the hazard can be controlled
- Determining critical limits for these points
- Overseeing the limits
- Determining what’s to be done in case of deviation from the limits
- Making sure the result end up as intended and that monitoring, as well as correction, is done as intended
- Being sure suitable documentation and journal keeping is kept
